Skip Ferderber
Skip is a season public relations and marketing communications executive, with more than 20 years' experience in media planning, strategy and hands-on creation. A journeyman writer and creative director, Skip produces virtually everything requiring the written word, as well as planning and project-managing PR campaigns, website creation, print advertising, collateral materials and sales aids.
Prior to joining e5, Skip was founder and chief consultant for Skip Ferderber & Associates, a boutique public relations firm handling, among other accounts, The Walt Disney Studios, North American Philips Electronics Corporation, Philips/BTS (now owned by Thomson), Panavision, Transoft (now owed by Hewlett Packard) and a variety of smaller companies..
Skip followed a twin career in journalism and public relations. He began his career in PR working for CBS Radio, then moved into radio producing, and eventually into print journalism. He was a staff reporter for The Los Angeles Times, then editor of the respected Millimeter trade magazine and editorial director of On Location Magazine. His byline has appeared in People Magazine and other publications. He founded his company initially as HartFerd Communications, and became Skip Ferderber & Associates in 1990. He lives in the greater Seattle area, and handles both West Coast and national accounts for e5 marketing.
